Situated in beautiful Acadamey Bay in the town of Puerto Ayora, on the Island of Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands, the Finch Bay Hotel is perfectly located for a land based Galapagos Island adventure. Located on a semi-private beach, this hotel has a stunning view of the bay beyond from the dining room and pool side areas of the hotel. The Finch Bay Hotel - Galapagos offers the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the Equatorial sun of the Galapagos Islands, especially after a cruise through the islands. For those more adventuresome, the hotel offers tour packages to the local islands, such as Bartolome or North Seymour or Plaza Island with daily tours with a naturalist guide on a private motor driven yacht. Passengers depoart from the hotel after breakfast for a tour to the local islands and return to the hotel in the evening. Lunch is included onboard the yacht. This offers the perfect venue for those travelers who wish to visit the islands and prefer to sleep on land. The Finch Bay also offers some hotel rooms with meals and without daily tours to Santa Cruz and the nearby islands. Call for pricing on the land based options without daily yacht tours. The Finch Bay Hotel in on a secluded beach, surrounded by mangroves. The beach is easily accessible from the hotel. Just minutes from the town of Puerto Ayora on the Island of Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands. the guests can take a water taxi from the hotel dock to the town for exploration, shopping, and a variety of restaurants for lunch and dinner. The Charles Darwin Research Center is on the opposite end of the town and is also easily accessible by walking. Other beaches nearby include Tortuga Bay - a short walk from the town and the hotel. Facilities :
The hotel offers 21 comfortable rooms, with air conditioning. The rooms offer some views of the beach and the pool area. There is a large dining area for breakfast and dinner dining. Breakfast is normally served buffet style. The pool area is well maintained and dinner is sometimes served in the pool area. Beyond the swimming pool is access to the semi-private beach and Academy Bay which is the ocean access to Puerto Ayora town. The entire setting is very quiet and peaceful.

hOTEL PRICES WILL INCLUDE: Galapagos hotel rooms at the Finch Bay Hotel are in air conditioned rooms with private bath. Tours may include one visit to the Galapagos Island each day including lunch meals and tours, conducted by certified naturalist guides. Passengers may request room with breakfast only, a room with all meals included or a room with daily tours to the local islands.

GALAPAGOS CRUISE PRICES WILL NOT INCLUDE: Airfare between Quito or Guayaquil (round-trip) and the Galapagos Islands, (approximate cost $420 per person), Galapagos National Park entrance fees, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, tips for naturalist guides and crew or captain, all personal expenses, gifts and purchases on the ship, rental of snorkel equipment and/or travel insurance.

Children on Galapagos cruises and at the hotel are always welcome and may cruise at a 20% discount if sharing a cabin or hotel room, with a parent(s). Itinerary for the Hotel Finch Bay

The Three Night Program -Monday to Wednesday
and The Four Night Program - Wednesday to Sunday

Monday -Three Night Program After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, depart with your guide on a private yacht to North Seymour Island, famous for encounters with Blue Footed Boobies, Swallow Tailed Gulls and Frigate Birds. Lunch is included on board the yacht each day.
Tuesday
Depart today for Plaza Island for an encounter with sea lions, land iguanas an swallow tailed gulls.
Wednesday
Depart today early in the morning to the Charles Darwin Research Center to visit the giant tortoises. Later in the day transfer to Balata Island for your flight to the mainland of Ecuador.
Thursday
Depart today for the beginning of the four night program. Cruise on a private yacht with your naturalist guide to visit the island of Santa Fe - famous for sea lion colonies and land iguanas. There may be an opportunity to snorkel and swim.
Friday Visit to Plaza Island famous for sea lions, land iguanas and swallow tailed gulls.
Saturday Today, after breakfast travel onboard a private yacht for a visit to Bartolome Island. A steep climb up wooden stairs leads to a commanding view of Pinnacle Rock and the islands beyond. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling with penguins and tropical fish along the base of Pinnacle Rock. A delicious lunch is served onboard the yacht.
Sunday Visit to Santa Cruz Island, Puerto Ayora and the Charles Darwin Research Center. Return to Baltra Island later in the day to catch a flight back to the mainland of Ecuador either to Guayaquil or Quito for extended tours or a flight home.
